The New Matrice 300 RTK Looks Terrifying (But Awesome)

The eagerly-awaited Matrice 300 RTK is finally here. Packed with exciting new features that put it leagues above its predecessor, the M200 V2. With a new design and exciting features, this new commercial drone is ready to blow everything else out of the water. 

Many of the  Matrice 300 RTK’s features were leaked earlier in the year, although some things have proved to be even better than what was speculated. Among some of the Matrice 300 RTK’s new features are:

• -20°c to 50°c operating temperature
• 15km transmission
• 1080p triple-channel video

The newest Matrice drone is designed with superior weather performance for a drone that is more stable and effective, ideal for various commercial purposes. 

Added intelligence enriches the quality of the device. The M300’s Smart Pin and Track provides enhanced tracking options for static and moving objects, with the ability to synchronize location data with other operators. The Smart Inspection features make it possible to optimize the collection of data for railway lines, power lines and more, providing much greater accuracy. It’s even possible to mark out points of interest, helping to ensure consistent results when monitoring a particular area.   

And as if all of that wasn’t enough, the Matrice 300 is also capable of three simultaneous payloads, including a downwards gimbal - a new feature for DJI. Shoot at a variety of angles and achieve your best drone footage so far.

For a start, have you seen how it looks? Breaking away from traditional DJI drone designs, the Matrice 300 has a more futuristic feel (as if drones couldn’t get more futuristic-looking). Resembling a Star Wars All Terrain Walker, it’s a piece of equipment that looks cool, while still having features that make it more than just good-looking kit. 

The Matrice 300 RTK has had many upgrades since its predecessor. When the Matrice 200 was released in 2017, it was immediately seen as the model to beat.
